First full day after landing did not start well. I woke up with a headache and my Garmin showed a very low HRV and sleep score. I may have put too much stress on my body the day before. I needed to adjust my plans and decided to go for a run to the park close to my place instead of going for a longer run into Kampinoski National Park to do a trail run. I packed two snacks and headed out. Surprisingly, once I started running, I kept feeling better and better... I did some loops in the park, then I went to a small forest close by and ended up at my favorite coffee shop for a cup of hot coffee! I ended up running 16km and it felt good!

For the past three days, I had to wake up at 4AM due to work, which has caused my body to need some adjustment. As a result, I only managed to run 5km on Monday and Tuesday, and on Wednesday, I felt the need to rest. Additionally, I have been doing some stretching and rolling before going to bed most nights.
Since Thursday and Friday, I had a day off. I tried to run longer; initially, I planned 20km each day but ended up with 16km and 15km, both at an easy pace in Zone 2. I did feel good, but I needed to make it short due to time constraints.
Friday marked the beginning of a long weekend in Poland, so I took my children on a trip to Gdańsk in the north to visit some friends.
Luckily on Saturday morning I woke up rested and my HRV start to be balanced.
That day, I ended up running an additional 5km around the old town of Gdańsk:) I enjoy running in new locations when I travel because it enables me to see more in a shorter period of time;)

I am extremely pleased with my achievement of completing 62km this week. Despite the challenges of work and family commitments next week, I will strive to cover as much distance as possible, although it may not reach 60km like this week.
